TimTech Chemicals expands in Australia

11 April 2008
Members of a family with more than 80 years of combined knowledge in the timber preservation industry have joined the TimTech Chemicals team in Australia.
General manger Mike Brown has announced the appointments of Matt and Rick White as technical service and sales representatives, based in Coffs Harbour, NSW, and Brisbane respectively. Both have more than 15 years’ experience in the industry. Matt started with TimTech Chemicals in March and brother Rick commences May 1.
Their father Ripper White, well-known in the timber treatment industry in Australasia and the Pacific region in both the chemicals and engineering sectors, will work with TimTech as a consultant.
Ian Clarke was appointed Australian sales manger this month. He has spent more than 15 years in timber preservation and previously was in the sawmilling industry in central north Queensland.
“These appointments underscore the company’s rapidly expanding presence in the Australian market,” Mike Brown said.
The growing impact of TimTech Chemicals on the Australian industry is enhanced by established team players John Thorpe, market development manger, Brett Ellis, research director and technical sales representative, and West Hill, technical services representative.
