Kim Creak Re-elected A3P Chairman

Tasmanian forester Kim Creak has been re-elected chairman of the Australian Plantation Products and Paper Industry Council (A3P). John Hayden of AKD Softwoods, Colac, Vic, was elected deputy chairman
Creak, who is general manager, operations and sales, Forestry Tasmania, was elected at the recent A3P board meeting. He is a member of a number of industry boards and councils and has held previous positions with Australian Newsprint Mills, Fletcher Challenge Ltd and was the assistant commissioner for the Tasmanian Forestry Commission. He also chairs the A3P Plantation Resources Forum.
Creak, also representing the plantation sector on the board, joins the following directors: Linda Sewell, Hancock Victorian Plantations (plantation sector), Sonny Coleiro, Amcor (pulp and paper), Marcus Derham, Willmott Forests (plantation), Milo Foster, Kimberly-Clark Australia (pulp and paper), John Hayden, AKD Softwoods (solid wood processing), Jim Henneberry, PaperlinX (pulp and paper), and Hans Kobes, Highland Pine Products (solid wood).
